This music toy is a fun way for my grandchildren, ages 7 to 18, to get creative and all have a blast playing together. They can build original tracks in seconds by stacking and removing figurines for multi-layer looping, which gives a real-time performance feel that keeps everyone engaged. The app is required but adds new characters and updates to grow with their interests. They love recording and sharing their music, and it's compatible with collectible characters that unlock unique styles. It took a little while for the firmware to update, but it gave a nice musical accompaniment to the wait time and sang about the update and how long it was taking - very cute. Setup was easy, it pairs quickly with your phone and has a simple interface. Once it is all paired and updated, it was as simple as placing a character on the pad. Each character has three options depending on how many times you tap the board with the piece. Sound quality was good and it timed in well when adding a piece to the board. The mix sounded professional. Very unique idea and it makes it easy for any age to use. The cost was a little more than I would have expected, especially considering you need to buy other pieces to expand the sounds. Looping is smooth and very fun to use. Since each piece offers 3 different sound patterns, there are quite a few different loops you can make that are unique. You can also record through the app.

Not just for kids!First of all I was blown away by the level of refinement on this product. Unboxing experience alone was nothing short of an Apple product.Secondly It works so intuitively you can tell how much work was put into the development. Syncs to your phone effortlessly via a dedicated app (also very refined).I included a video where you can see just how satisfying adding and subtracting instruments is, it's addictive! Plus you can also record your DJ creations!I can see this being a brilliant ice breaker in a social hosting situation for adults, as well as a great way for kids to develop a musical ear or just have fun (either with themselves, other kids or together with a parent).Can't wait to see the huge smiles this will put on people's faces :)Phenomenal product!

This is a great concept. It was a joy to open and shows the engineering and care the manufacturer has for their product. Everything was protected and reusable for storage. There is an APP involved that you have to download. The music comes from the app and requires it to be connected via bluetooth. There was no issue to downloading, linking, and utilizing it. The materials used in the construction are excellent. The character detail is great along with each being unique and invite for touching and playing.The music is fun. Each character can play three levels and they can move around in different sequences and spaces. There is also a way to record songs with the app.I could only imagine that the additional musicians and styles will expand this tremendously. It is a lot of fun for an adult but this is absolutely addictive for kids too. Exploring the sounds is very rewarding and the tactile response and learning made them laugh, smile and dance.
